2. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order at our discretion.
A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. Please review your order carefully before submitting — once confirmed, changes may not be possible.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from us. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices on our website are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of order. We use secure third-party payment processors and do not store your card details on our systems.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and will notify you before processing your order if a discrepancy is found. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
4. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 working days. Delivery timescales shown at checkout are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us promptly of any damage or discrepancies.
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. If you require delivery outside the UK, please contact us before placing an order.
5. Returns and Refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason (your 'cooling-off period').
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing (by email or letter) within 14 days of receipt. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. Goods must be returned in their original, unused condition and packaging.
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method you used to place the order. We may deduct an amount for any diminishment in value if the goods have been used beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
Faulty or damaged goods: If your product develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us with details and, where possible, photographs of the issue.
6. Product Warranties
Many products we sell come with a manufacturer's warranty. Details of any applicable warranty will be included with your product or can be obtained from the manufacturer directly. Our statutory obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are separate from and in addition to any manufacturer's warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holywell Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or damage to property, other than where such loss is caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under English law.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total value of that order.
8. Intellectual Property

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your information as set out in that policy. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website or placing of orders after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
